Entropy ("the App") is a personal life-maintenance tracker for iOS. Your privacy is fundamental to how the App is built — it stores all data locally on your device and does not collect, transmit, or share your personal information.
All data you create in Entropy — including life objects, tend events, notes, and settings — is stored exclusively on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. No data is sent to any server, cloud service, or third party.
The App uses Apple's StoreKit framework to process in-app purchases (subscriptions). These transactions are handled entirely by Apple and subject to Apple's Privacy Policy. We do not receive or store your payment information.
If you enable notifications, they are scheduled locally on your device. No notification data is sent to external servers.
Entropy's home screen and lock screen widgets read data from a shared on-device container (App Group). This data never leaves your device.
The App uses UserDefaults (as declared in our App Privacy Manifest) to store your preferences such as notification settings and onboarding status. This data remains on your device.
Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over it at all times. You can delete individual life objects within the App, or remove all App data by deleting the App from your device. We do not retain any data on external servers.
The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.

By downloading or using Entropy ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
Entropy is a personal life-maintenance tracking app for iOS. It allows you to track life objects, set decay cadences, and visualize your maintenance habits. The App operates entirely on your device with no server-side component.
Entropy offers a free tier with limited features and optional Pro subscriptions (monthly, yearly, and lifetime) that unlock additional functionality. Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID and managed via Apple's App Store. Subscription terms, pricing, renewal, and cancellation are governed by Apple's terms.
All content you create in the App is stored locally on your device. You are solely responsible for maintaining backups of your device. We are not responsible for any loss of data.
The App, including its design, code, and visual assets, is the intellectual property of the developer. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal purposes.
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the App at any time. Your license to use the App terminates automatically if you fail to comply with these terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law principles.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
